awesome. someone said this earlier, but the immediate area around the socket does look pretty cluttered...there are going to be some very tall hsf's on that thing. No SLK-900A sized stuff for this bad boy

Not sure how much you're allowed to reveal Gary but in a hypothetical situation where someone was stuck at, oh say 440Mhz on their fsb and needed more, would this person benefit by waiting for the 680i boards. Hypothetically of course if a person like that really existed.

Only reason your stuck is because you're running 975X.

P965 doesn't have the same issue.

I am pretty postive RD600/680i won't either based on preliminary results.

I gave up...RD600 pictures were around forever and still no reviews. I'm just telling everyone to go get a tried and tested P965 board like DS3 or P5B-E/Deluxe unless they absolutely must have crossfire/SLI.

Where does it say it doesn't support DDR2-1066? The ASUS spec above reads SLI-ready memory 1200MHz. BTW that board is.. fugly. I mean, are NV chips still so hot that they can't do away with such mal-formed heatpipes?! Granted looks aren't the most important factor for a motherboard, NV reference board looks so much better. The ASUS specs might not be correct or incomplete - If I read correctly it says blue PEGs are full x16 speed, then how long the SLI bridge needs to be?

The fact that it's not listed under the memory spec. Yes, I understand 1200Mhz was under sli-memory, but seems a little odd none the less.
