I recently got a dreaded access read error on my vista x64 machine at home.
I have a NVIDIA nForce 780i MB and 3 seagate drives.
2 of the drives are setup as raid 0, and I got a read error. Thinking that the OS was hosed, I formated, and reinstalled. All was good for about a week, and same read error.
Booted up from a DOS version of Seatools, and ran all their diagnostics, nothing was detected as an error.
So is it a bad motherboard? Is there something more extensive than seatools?
Is it vista 64 sp1?
anyone run into similiar problems.
thanks in advance.
