May 27th, $599
$599 according to WCCF http://wccftech.com/nvidia-geforce-gtx-1080-launch/
So nVidia has increased performance 15% at the $600 price point, however remember you could find 980ti's for $560 so we aren't seeing much of an improvement here at all. Pretty low strategy if they hold out on the 1070...
He's claiming twice the perf of Titan X. In DX12 Quantum Break surely.
What the heck is the Founders Edition?
$599 is better than expected. It will be quite the paper launch though. I bet you won't see any of the non-'founders edition' for quite some time.
Expected more for a ~330mm die?
What the heck is the Founders Edition?
Uh in VR games where they have employed a specialized effect that the Titan X can't do..
Man the people shrieking at $599 "I CAN AFFORD THAT". Ugh so cringey~!
I'm not sure how I feel about "founders edition" cards. WTF does that even mean?
