You got that right, a big fat nothing happened.

I am now being eaten alive by locusts and nukes are falling from the sky.

My cat was just killed by a falling 7800GT

I think nvidia was off by 2 with their slogan

Oh, no, don't worry, later today, Nvidia Is going to release two different rebadged Geforce 2 GTSs AGAIN as a Geforce MX 7800GTX, and Geforce MX7800GT just to confuse the public

How is that? We have a plague of locusts, a rain of nukes, and a falling 7800GT?

i guess we will have to wait until stores open in the morning and see if anything happens. maybe sometime later today they will give a press release, that will straighten things out.

This sucks, I had my money on 'video card infused with the power of the Holy Trinity.'

I think nvidia is going to attack PhysiX and their new AGEIA processor by announcing an onboard physiX processor of their own. OR they might me integrating the AGEIA PhysiX chips directly into the NV50 line? That would be interesting. No?

You know that would suck for me. If i upgrade at the Geforce 7 series, i dont want to upgrade the very next generation ... having an onboard physics processor would certainly screw that up.

As in performance and IQ and all that, it would be schweet!

well that was the saddest most pointless marketing gimmick of all time, hype people up totally only to tell us something thats been present since the 6800 line....lol

oh and the 7800GT is released, whoopy doo, price difference here in the UK isnt worth spending the little bit less the GT costs, rather save spend the little bit extra and get the GTX.....

I agree that it was hyped up.

However, the 7800GT was released today. THe GTX was released nearly a month ago. Give the GT time for prices to drop to MSRP at least!
