I hear you but I still think AEG should be giving something financially to AT at the very least, and they should be 100% transparent to the point of having a custom title/avatar.

The guy at b3d comes across as a decent individual. I'm not saying I approve of AEG. I approve of that b3d member. I don't think AEG has much to do with what he says on a technical level.

From what i remember he never insulted anyone for not having an SLI setup. I remember him lecturing people for insulting his benchmarks on his SLI system. He basically said, if youdont have the hardware then stop trying to make it like i am in the wrong.

YOu guys are making a huge deal about this. Whats "viral" is this issue. Stop making more out of it than it is. On more than one occasion Rollo has recommended an ATI card. If people would get off his back and his posts every once i a while he wouldn't have to retaliate at all.

I honestly expected more out of you, Kevin. As a man of God, you should believe in honesty and integrity. Thou shalt not lie, that is a fundamental principal of your faith. You should not condone what Rollo has done.

I know there is also the "lest ye be judged" bit, but that does not mean you should back up someone who has admitted to being a liar.

I can link to posts from 2004 where Rollo followed me all the way to nVNews just to start flamebaiting the thread I created. He's no angel and he's definitely a pro-flamer and always has been. He's been doing the same thing to others here for years all the while being given the green light for his antics by AEG/nVidia.

Nor did i ever say he was an Angel. However, i think you should consider that he is a very kind person, and also simply prefers Nvidia. He has never BLINDLY recommended Nv over ATI.

Well he hasn't done anything unethical. I wasn't able to read all IIRC 15 pages of this thread, but it dont ever recall Rollo denying that he was a member, merely asking for proof instead. Yes, deceptive, but after this whole debacle how can you blame the guy?!? Wrong to be deceptive, yes; immoral, and unethical- i would hardly call any of his actions.

As i said earlier his posts seem unaffected by this, he simply prefers Nvidia. If he was paid and what not, why then was he not fired or ejected from the group for saying good things about ATI, or buying ATI products. THats like an Intel employee buying 8 AMD machines for his house.

Im not condoning marketing by any means, im just saying that this is way out of proportion. Rollo was arguably Pro Nvidia while he was here, but he still recommended ATI and faulted Nvidia for other things. That does not make him an infection to this forum.

Having said this, i think this is all a moot point. He works for a marketing firm (which he stated many times before) where he recieves discounted or free items to test. No different from a beta tester guys.
