No i was here. I joined in '99, but i was 11 at the time, and made and account and forgot the password. Years later (like 4 lol) my Uncle recommended this site to me and i made another accout under IIRC Xplaya91. I then changed it to Gamingphreek. I remember, vaguely, but i remember. I had been building computers since i was ~7 years old. But i can honestly say that this forum is the reason i know all about the design, and architecture, and what not. I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to come in here and learn and share so much. I cant begin to say how much i have learned in these forums.

I hope for your sake it comes soon. My grandmother still has Dial-Up (Which is plenty for her) and it annoys me just to use it. But hey, it works, and it gets data from point a to point b.

That Wireless WAN is sounding pretty nice, hopefully it gets even better and catches on.

But Creig, he was talking with you.. What on Earth did you expect? I bet any and all posts you have of Rollo verbally thrashing someone was a result of an ATI fanboy comment or bait. Including yours. I mean, when do you ever post something positive on these forums? Always negative. Dark. Dreary. Grey skies. All your posts are inflammatory. If I find one that was not inflammatory, I would have to put it in my sig because it is a rare thing.

I take a bit of offense at your remark. All of my posts are not inflammatory. The only time I usually get into a heated debate with someone is when either it's Rollo or somebody defending him after he'd just finished inciting a riot.

Contrary to your belief, I don't usually like arguing and am geeky enough to enjoy discussing hardware. Unfortunately, nobody at work understands 1/5 of what I say when I begin trying to explain why I'm excited about the latest nVidia/ATI video card release. So I come here to do it. Up until lately however, a certain individual has made it nearly impossible to post anything without having him enter the thread and begin a flame war. No, unfortunately I don't. CoD is one of the series I haven't gotten into yet, but it looks quite nice. I've actually been going back through some of my older games and rediscovering them on an HP A7217A (21" widescreen CRT) I recently acquired.

Keys, Rollo only gets really short with people when he is provoked but he does do some very subtle provocation from time to time. Of course if people didn't respond to the provokation we wouldn't have a problem but they do and the flaming starts and everyone looks stupid.

What bothers me the most is why Nvidia(via AEG) and possibly other hardware vendors would stoop this low. I mean the forums they want to plant seeds in already have fans ready to fight to the grave for their favorite hardware.

To me it seems like wasted money on their part.
