Thanks for the info. I'm guessing this will just be ignored and accepted as part of life. It's a pitty really, the people at AEG will still get to stink up the net and nvidia will still sell tons of hardware, while we just bend over and ask for more.

I've been following this excellent read from the beginning but, this controversy with Nvidia at the center has left a foul taste in my mouth. It's kind of a poetic justice that the state of the market is where it is right now with ATI being the current performance king. Also, taking into consideration the SNAFU with the video decoding controversy of the 6 series where they flat out LIED about the ability on their packaging. I think I'll have to vote with my dollar and give my money to the Via or ATI flavors for the next mobo/vid card upgrade. Probably something in the upper midrange category. Nvidia will have to put out one tremendous bang for the buck in order to get any business from me.

and really, we should have a competency test before allowing members to post their trouble shooting or hardware advice. browse the forums on any given day and take note of all the bad advice given out.

and that bad advice is usually alot worse than what anyone on any side of the fence could say bad about ati or nv.

Its not just the shilling, its also his crapping on threads which earned him a 2-week suspension before.

His last thread got shat on but it was well deserved after all his lies and equivocations.

A thread in FI got closed and a mod said something about a resolution coming soon. Whether its true that a resolution is coming I don't know since its been a while already.
