Pretty sure the LX is a mild tweak of the Geode GX, which is a renamed Cyrix MediaGX. Performance on the GX is about equal to a Pentium-MMX at 2/3 the speed. I don't think the LX is much better, the biggest changes were in the supporting chipset and memory.
1.0GHz Isaiah ULV (3.5w TDP) stomps all over C7, and slightly edges out a 1.2GHz Core Solo in ALU performance. FPU is nothing to write home about, though, scores about 3/5 what the Core Solo does.
