As of yesterday i have been getting messages related to the Nvidia PCI Management device in the device manager.
It literally says "Nvidia pci management is not supported by windows vista, please see xxxxx for a list of supported hardware".
Has MS pulled Nvidias WHQL status becuase of all of the OEM problems with their drivers? Its my understanding that OEMs use a special bios for vista activation and nvidias drivers corrupt the driver in vista that causes this to work by writing themselves into the same address space.
Ive seen this on an Asus Nforce based machine that was running vista ultimate edition, it just BSODs on load every time.
Edit: after checking with friends we have Nforce 2, 3, and 4 motherboards with current nvidia drivers getting the same error message.
