my computer have 2x 80 SATA WD, and a new 320G SATA Seagate. i decided to crate a RAID 0 from the WD hdds. On raid i want to install linux and windows.
The problem is that when i start windows installation, windows keep seeing my raid, as a second hdd, not the first, as i think it should be. In bios, my Seagate is recognized as 3-rd sata hdd. Of course xp didn't want to be installed o second hdd. If i install the windows without the seagate, when i put the seagate online, the sistem try to boot from seagate, not from the raid with xp installed.
Also the linux recognize the seagate as the first hdd. I think this is a bios problem.
Have anyone any ideea, how to fix, this thing, so the raid will be see as the first hdd?
