I don't think they have a risky job. There are way more risky jobs out there when it comes to dying. There are also way more jobs that are 'tough'Because people feel they risk their lives and they have a tough job, so they get the immunity.

Police officer isn't even in the top 25. Your average construction worker is at way higher risk of dying or being hurt on the job than your average cop.
So yeah I never understood the argument for qualified immunity, particularly when military members who face similar dangers don't get that.
