I think you've misunderstood the post.Probably because it reveals some truth that would damage their cause. I just seen some damage control article on CNN about how "Israel this and Israel that" damage control, so my guess is the Jews are scared of this leak in some fashion. Since NYT is quite Jewish. My guess is their stance matches the nature of the leaks.

I don't personally have any qualms with the times publishing the wikileaks, and frankly I really like reading the NYT, but I think the hypocrisy is blatantly obvious.

To be honest most of it is boring to read. Cables are nothing more than cliff notes for people who didn't attend events. I feel sorry for the people that have to read them every day. I guess the occasional name calling content does help. The cables are out there if you look for them so not like NYT is doing something special.

Of course there's no difference between 100% tax payer funded activities, conducted by Federal employees, using Federal communication methods and those of some climate scientists at private institutions.
