Might if your lucky, I know some guy on the 3dfx message board said he knew how to get the cpu unlocked so I tried it (I was using a slocket adapter) so I blocked a couple pins and it still worked, wasn't unlocked though, that guy was full of sh!t.
lol i hope it still works i guess i cant sell the processor now so i guess i will try to use it, i have never really used the fcpga's so what is a good motherboard for it?
Go to www.intel.com and get a pinout chart of the CPU to see what signal that pin went to. You might get lucky and it was only a power or ground. There are a couple dozen of those so it will still work without one. Could also have been an unused pin but not very many of those. If it was an address, I/O, or other critical signal you now have a nice keychain souvenir.
