I'll check them out.. to bad i'm not a member of Costco anymore.
These are similalar to the style you are looking at and they retailed for $120 and I picked them up at Costco for around $70. I went with someone who was a member when I purchased these.

I have to see if i still have membership. Man Ray bans website is really damn slow

Ray-ban's website is frickin' terrible.
No sh!t, it's been loading for over 5 minutes for me.

I bought Revos because they are supposed to have some of the best lenses (although they are glass and heavy). Between Bolle And Oakley, I would probably buy Oakley. I think they look better and are better quality. I have heard people complain about the rubber ear pads coming off if left in the car during summer, though. After buying polarized sunglasses, I don't think I will ever go back. They are wonderful.

does Revos have a website? all i get is some german websites

http://www.revo.com/

ohhh revo, not revos

edit: another slow site

Edit again: funny Revo site has the same style as Ray Ban

As I look at it, they're both part of the same company, Luxottica. Pretty sure Ray Ban was bought out by them. The last pair Ray Bans I bought were made in Italy.

Maui Jim are the Best glasses i have every owned. Costing me $238, but worth every penny!! I have owned ray-ban (3 pair), bolle, arnette and MauiJim. The MauiJim's polorized lenses are so sweet. But the revo seemed nice too.

If you dont get polorized lenses, then who cares. Just get some at the drug store.

Polarized is definitely worth it. You'll never go back once you have a good pair of polarized sunglasses.

As far as style, I think Oakley's styles are played out. I wear Bolle, but I like the Revo and Maui Jim styles as well. To me, quality sunglasses fit and feel a lot better than cheap sunglasses.

Oakley is one of the worst brands to wear as far as optics go. Seriously, with the money you'll spend on an Oakley, you can get much better quality sunglasses.

care to share the better brands?

(i really want to know...)

I'd like to know too, since I've been using Oakley prescription sunglasses for years.
I'm not being a smartass, I'd really like to know

edit: oh and I use mine primarily for driving since I live in So Cal.

those are nice, whats the $$

I paid $159. I recently had LASIK surgery, so I wanted to get a good pair of sunglasses. I tried cheap ones, but my eyes were so used to quality prescription lenses, I needed a decent pair of optics. These work great. They are polarized also, which was a must have for me.

Tomorrow I'm going to get new sunglasses.. I like the MJ Mauna Loa's, Duke's and Kahuna's. I like a few Bolle's aswell, but I can't remember the names.

I didn't look at any Revo's or Ray-Bans, because thier sites are useless.

Yep, i went to sunglasshut to look at them instead. All their sunglasses have that ear loop in the end, i don't like that.

I just bought a pair of Bolle's a couple days ago at costco using their $15 off coupon in the summer passport. I liked them a lot, very comfortable, looked good, and polarized. My wife got on my case for spending $60 on sunglasses though.

I got a pair of Native Dash XP's and love those. They are all polorized and the set I got came with 4 pairs of lenses (Charcol, Yellow, Orange, Clear). They ran ~$119 at REI and were worth it for me. They tend to be more sporty/biking styles as opposed to some of the other brands which have casual styles as well as sporty.

They have a lifetime warrenty so no matter what happens I pay $20 (shipping/processing fee's) and get either a replacement set of the exact same lenses or a brand new style of my choosing.

I like ray ban myself... I had a nice pair a few years ago, and killed them at my old job I had the cheapo $15 glasses and when they just died, I replaced them with another set up ray bans.
