You probably like to eat glue paste out of a jar with the stick, because that's what comes to mind on oatmeal cooked in milk.
Only in ATOT could people screw up oatmeal. The salt removes the bland taste. We're not talking enough to make it salty mkay? RTFSideOfTheBox!
I prefer milk. And good powdered oatmeal should already have salt in it.
Alright guys, oatmeal question for you.
I love the Maple and Brown sugar flavored oatmeal (with water, thank you), but its ridiculously expensive in the packs (I usually eat 3 sometimes 4 packs at a time ).
Anyone have any good recipes to take some quick oats and give it a similar flavor? Closest ive been able to get is using brown sugar and some imitation maple (no kidding, to make it maple and brown sugar flavored ), but its still not really that close. Tried some cinnamon too.
Anyone have any solid oatmeal recipes? Its getting cold out here, and freezing where I work, itd be nice to have a cheap solid meal in the morning.
its not horrible but...its meh. i prefer milk with a touch of butter and cinnamonWas in the mood for oatmeal for lunch today and looked in the fridge to find no milk For some reason I picked up the oatmeal canister and read that you can use water and salt to cook oatmeal D:
What the shit? wouldn't that taste like cardboard?
