I read a WAPO article that was quite interesting. In short the DOJ really has nothing to do with Flynn no matter what Barr or Trump says. Once indicted the decision to try is entirely up to the judge. Normally courts respect the prosecution by going along with them but (and it's a pretty big one), a judge is not required to and may indeed refuse to drop a trial if there is behavior that there is a corrupt intent as with Barr.

This could be interesting yet.

I heard some talking heads on TV speculate that Obamagate is TrumpTalk for a conspiracy implemented and directed by President Obama to entrap Flynn and throw shame on the new Trump Adminstration.

Pretty far fetched and flies in the face of a lot of established facts-including that Obama specifically warned Trump not to hire Flynn in one of their meetings before Trump ascended to his rightful throne. And the fact that Flynn's FBI interview was after the end of the Obama presidency.
