It gives me a kick to see the knee-jerk reactions of the wholly uninformed. There's going to be some dark days ahead for you. Your anger is going to ratchet up all the way to 11 because your news sources are going to feed you the same brand of bullshit you've been buying all along.
One of the most appropriate names in this forums. So much projection.

How many of you believe that hookers hired by Trump peed on the bed 0bama slept on?

The guy who thought Trump wasn't impeached thinks other people are 'wholly uninformed'. lol.

You might want to look into what brand of bullshit your news sources are feeding you as it would take a truly delusional person to think Trump wasn't impeached.

Your thoughts on Trump's having been impeached?
It holds less weight than the Clinton impeachment. The ultimate goal of impeachment is to remove the individual from office, from a position of power. In both cases the House voted to impeach but the Senate was not able to get the votes to complete the process. Clinton remained President until his term expired and Trump is doing the same.

I say it holds less weight because the Clinton impeachment resulted in his law license being suspended for five years after leaving office. That's tangible but minor because to think that a former President would resume a law career after leaving office is pretty much absurd. The Trump impeachment is as much of a victory as was the Clinton impeachment.

If your team had succeeded in removing him from office that would have been something you could celebrate. So, impeached, yes. The weight to assign to it? Zilch.

Do you believe that Trump hired hookers to pee on a bed that 0bama slept on?

Translation: I admit he was impeached, but it doesn't matter anyways.

lol.

Trump wasn't impeached.

The moon where the Senate voted to acquit Trump on the two articles of impeachment. I understand that facts like those are ignored by many because of reasons rooted in psychology. But I encourage you to continue to live in a version of reality that meshes well with your psyche. If it's important to you to feel that the current president has been impeached by all means continue to do so.

If you have a compulsive urge to give me a lecture about facts now, save the wear and tear on your knuckles.

I'd say that that poster cares more about his political "team" than he does about the law, truth, and American lives.
The "dark days" ahead that he predicts aren't because of partisan politics, competing news sources, or reality TV-style political drama, but because of Trump's failure to protect the American people from a foreign invader, and in aftermath, his ongoing failure to successfully manage that crisis. The former only hurts feels, while the latter hurt is very real. But as always, Trump and his supporters need a scapegoat and a made-up drama to deflect away their accountability. But with tens of thousands dying and tens of millions on the unemployment line, I don't believe that the American people (other than his diehard supporters) are going to keep playing along with Trump's bullshit.

Explain to me why it does. What is the net effect from whatever perspective you feel carries the most weight. How did it make your political party stronger?

Having grown up in a super Christian suburb of Philadelphia I know quite a few people whose parents are just like boomerang. They consume conservative media constantly and they genuinely believe many of the same insane things boomerang says on here so in an important way we need to recognize that while to rational and objective people boomerang seems crazy, he also probably really believes this shit.

I've had this discussion several times with one of my friends and I think another important distinction is that just because they believe it doesn't absolve them of responsibility for their actions as for the most part this ignorance and delusional thinking is due to a choice they made to only consume conservative media because it's emotionally validating to them. Boomerang is a perfect example of someone who reasons entirely emotionally, what's true is what makes him feel good and he assumes everyone else thinks just like him.

That's why he thought impeachment didn't happen - it made him sad. He then convinced himself it didn't happen and that the people who said it did were doing so because it made them feel good emotionally.

I won't speak for any other poster here, but I believe that no public official, regardless of office or party, should be allowed to misuse their public office to attack their political enemies. And the law agrees with this, which is why Trump was impeached. For breaking the law.

I also believe that things that are real, such as 80,000+ dead and 36 million newly unemployed, are more important than your comic book-style narratives and conspiracy theories.

look at the little quisling.

Just think, if only 14 more Republican Senators had voted their conscience like Romney, the Senate could have removed Trump, kept the entire Administration the same with Pence at the helm, and deflected any Coronavirus response criticism back at the Dems for removing the President just as the pandemic hit.

But alas, it wasn’t to be, and they’re just as likely to lose the Senate now.

Seems we have two America's.
One is trying damn hard to promote the facts of a virus and the debunking of conspiracy theories. Where the other half is totally absorbed within conspiracy theories.
One half are the adults in the room, and the other half the children.
One half truly wants everyone to be safe and for truth to rule the day, while the other half wallows in chaos and insanity.
I'm just glad I'm with the first half because the second half will eventually self destruct, or I would hope. You can't play nutz all the time and get away with it.

So, uhh, why is there such a fight over the records of the Mueller report & Trump's taxes?

Exactly. I have no issue with either being thrown out for everyone to see. Problem being there is no legal requirement for Trumps taxes to be published.

I find it odd that the ones that were so eager to Unmask Flynn are now angry that they have been Unmasked themselves.

My biggest question is why their names were classified to begin with.
