Great interview. The part I connected with best was him talking about renewing American infrastructure.
He makes a solid point: Bush ran up the deficit by $5 trillion, but has nothing to show for it. We need public works projects to modernize things like our national power grids, railways (for high speed rail), ports, roads/bridges, etc.
It's a smart investment that would pay off greatly in the near future, and it would create a lot of new jobs.
