That cost is distributed throughout all the people buying in the system. So just because YOU can pay your heating bill, even at ridiculously high amounts doesn't mean others in the system want to pay more because you decided to be gluttonous.

So basically corporate welfare? Auto companies getting rich off of taxpayer funding?
