I love this series. Still havent beaten the last one. I keep restarting on both the PC and Xbox version. Theres just to many ways to play it.

Its safe to say I will buy this, for PC, the day it comes out.

Yeah, I'm running through Morrowind for about the fourth/fifth time with the Better Bodies, Better Heads, and a Graphics enhancement Mod - things look a whole lot nicer with today's horsepower and updated graphics.

fantastic screens.. I only made it about 1/10th the way through MW III but it was still worth the money...

Morrowind was OK in terms of graphics, atmosphere, etc. but:

- it bored the crap out of me with countless pretty weak quests, not even connected with the main storyline and hopelessly overshadowing it;
- it bored the crap out of me with endless running around the huge world (mount, please!);
- it annoyed me with "sterile" and boring dialog options;
- it had sucky monsters, weak and... well... boring;
- I HATE CLIFF RACERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good they are not a part of Oblivion

Towards the end of the Scenery one things get a little blurry - it's older and has HDR on overdrive it looks like

Actually, the original release was supposed to be in November 2005, but they delayed to kill bugs and increase performance.

I'm not saying it's going to be bug free (what game is on release?), but from the talk and all the Previewers comments, it sounds like this is an extremely clean game :thumbsup:

I flew over that big wall in center of map and went on a ass kicking mission.. Game was too easy otherwise.. Deadra and whatever that was called were fun. Oh yea and some floating gold guy flew in and took him out.

Yeah it's a pretty easy game, but the main point of the game isn't about fighting and killing monsters. It's the whole experience of the world. I personally think that no other game comes close in the amount of atmosphere put into the game. It's like an entirely new world you become a part of, with it's own history, culture, races, legends, stories, gossips, etc..

Whatever floats your/my boat. It was a good game which offered something to everyone, every type of player.. I found the actual "missioning" very tedious and boring.. much prefered BalursGate II style of RPG. I really liked item customization.. I make stuff for like 250K as I recall from sale of deadra weaponry. I actually re-installed it a couple months back but graphics were too horrible to continue.

Recommended hardware is an X800 or 6800 or faster. Minimum is an X600 aka 9600. Definitely very accessible.

Disturbing rumors are it lurches and stutters even on a X1900XT on a FX60. If so, I'm going to be upgrading a bit more than I expected. =)

Check the video links posted on the first page (about middle of page) of this thread.

In short, Physics are from the Havoc Engine.

Some shadows were removed - mainly on some inanimate objects like jars, food, etc.

Yeah, it's got good sound too - and the Radiant AI is supposed to be really amazing.
