I own a locked Intel i5 CPU, it was wery easy to overclock I just changed multiplier and vcore
But soon I will own a used 2500k that does 1.45v@4.9Ghz.
However I have quiet PC and cooling is enough for 1.2-1.32v only mostlikely unless I crank up the fans.
In IBT I will make sure to not Exceed 85c at highest core when running 20IBT.
Considering it does 1.45v@4.9Ghz I'm going to start by setting vcore to 1.20v and 42x100 for 1.20v@4.2Ghz.
Is this OK? Is there other sh*t I need to enable/disable tweak?
In case it passes 5 IBT I'll keep increasing speed by 100mhz until PC crashes
Then I'll decrease 10-50mhz and run 10ITB until it chrashes
Finaly I might run 20IBT to make sure it's 100% BF3 stable
