OC wierd

Ok i have my computer OC'ed in the bios to what is listed in the pics. But i'm able to oc it up to 2.6 in windows. not quite stable prime 95 (i think i need to up some voltages some help would be nice) If i try to up the speed in the bios it won't boot though and for this I'm at a loss.
HTT X3
ram DDR400 set at DDR266
and CPU multi X8 @ 288mhz

try using a bit more voltage and your board may not be able to handle that high of fsb, might try the 8.5x or 9 x multi

dotn try 8.5 mult because amds dont work well with .5s

thats a myth i use the 9.5 multi with my opteron 146 and that the only multi that works at 3+ ghz

Yeah, just upping the voltages a bit should do... Maybe up the chipset voltage as well...

ok great news. After upping
CPU to 1.450v
DDR SDRam to 2.70v
NForce 4 to 1.55v (i think)
HTT to 1.25v
294mhz X 8.4x multi = 2500mhz
My question is what is the math formula to calculate mem speeds i know my max is about 212mhz on DDR400 the program i was using to oc it and test that doesn't see the 8.5 multi it reads it at 8 Ideas. I have a strong felling i can do more. are my voltages to much? My ram is currently running at 133mhz. Thanks for the tips all

I'm currently Running Prime95 at 306mhz X 8.5 = 2605MHZ :thumbsup:
I'll report on how it does and any other tests i run

OK now I'm currently running 288mhz x 9.0 = 2595mhz
not quite stable but i uped my voltages.
CPUZ and speed fan screen capture

My problem is I can't do much more stable i'm wandering if i hit the wall or if there is some thing i'm forgetting. Please advise. Thanks
