OC with two different brands of Memory

I am looking at OC my CPU for BF3 and currently have 4 Gb of OCZ with a certain timing of 4-4-15. The current brands on Newegg dont have OCZ and have timings of 5-5-15. Will this be a problem? Can I order 2 more sticks for a total of 8 gb in my system and install them after I OC the cpu?

It's definitely not guaranteed to work, especially if you have the memory timings set explicitly in your BIOS.

If your RAM is on auto, it will adjust the timings to the slowest that you have in the system.

So I should be fine as long as I leave that on auto? I sent a request to Lu computers for my computer build from 3-4 years ago to get all my specs. CPU-Z gives too much information in their text file.

I'm reading that I have the following:
CPU - Q6600 @ 2.4 Ghz
Mobo - Asus P5k variant
Mem - OCZ DDR2 (PC2-6400) 2 Gb x 2 (P/N: OCZ2N800SR2G), intend to upgrade to 8 Gb for BF3
GPU - GTS250, upgrading to around GT570 level in a couple of months

If you set the speed to be the speed of the slowest sticks, or auto, it should work, but not absolutely guaranteed.
