This isn't a right or left issue. We have been royally fucked by the actions of Wall Street. It's no surprise Republicunts keep ignoring that fact, guarding their precious idea that "capitalism can do no wrong." I'm not against capitalism at all, but there needs to be regulations.

Wall Street proved to us that they lack the responsibility to operate in a world without regulation. The fact that some of these companies still paid their top exec's bonuses (while laying off thousands of people) after being bailed out, screams a big fuck you to the american people.

Even in France, during their many revolutions that were ostensibly targeting the wealthy & royalty, most of the rich were adequately prepared due to superior information sources and adequately protected or removed from the situation.

You know that Adam Smith was a big fan of bank regulations, right?

We created a situation that allowed Wall St. to fuck us over, yes. That doesn't change the fact that they were the ones that made the decision to do it. You can understand how a kid's upbringing may have created the conditions that pushed him towards being a criminal, you can accept our society's complicity, and you can work to change that. What exactly do you consider "harassment", and how is it defined differently in this context than free speech? They have a viewpoint (no matter how stupid), and they want to shout about it on public property. That seems like protected free speech to me, and apparently the courts at all levels agree.

If they come onto private property, yes. There are laws dealing with that. As long as they are on public property and they peacefully protest, no matter how much you dislike what they have to say, it's free speech and protected specifically by the constitution.
