That same supreme court also ruled that intrastate commerce was interstate commerce. Does that mean we should settle with "case closed" in regard to made up powers that are not in the constitution?

No, I'm just saying that I'm completely uninterested with what someone like you might think about it. You blithely declare some of the best legal minds in the country wrong because you just know better. It's part of your aggressive stupidity shtick that you always pull on here.

I'll definitely go tell them to cancel the air force, it's a made up power that's not in the Constitution after all.

There's plenty of quality legal scholarship that you can reference to show why corporate personhood is not wise/constitutional/whatever. I'm not really aware of the same thing for that the first amendment only protects the right to assemble in the way he claimed.

I didn't think this required explanation, but my post was condemning his emotional, worthless babbling, not that every decision the USSC has made is perfect.

I agree with this 100%. When I was 20 I had a very myopic view of the world and thought the things I believed were all that mattered, society be damned. My elders called me out on it and I only thought they didn't get it.

Now I look at these kids and see the same cycle. Nothing you can do about it but let them get it out of their system. In 10 - 20 years they will realize how stupid they were acting.

Moral of the story: You won't change the world, the world will change you.

The protest is valid, but one must try to isolate the radical strains and focus on the parts that not only make sense, but will help to improve our nation.

The middle class is being crushed out by bouts of dirty pool in which the rules to the game are constantly being re-written by those that seek to win no matter what the cost.

EVERYONE here is all for "free market" in one way or another, but not for Capitalistic Anarchy. We want to set the rules up on the game so that handguns are not allowed on the field and that 7 year olds play against OTHER 7yo's and not a bunch of college seniors.

The rules are being re-written NOT to improve production, but to give more to those that want to MAKE more.

Human nature will ALWAYS do this, and it is necessary to be restrained or we will keep falling back into a two-tier system (Haves vs. Have nots).

No matter how much you focus on the cost of a protesters coat, the issue is still the same. It would work better for ALL of us if this was not blindly resisted and something was actually DONE to come with a solution other than trying to discredit the messenger.

Why is it that age is a reason for the left to vilify the tea party, but they get angry and defensive when age is mentioned about OWS? If you look at photos of both you see a range of ages represented.
