Which is exactly why OWS focusing solely on Washington D.C. is bound to fail. In order to have any chance of really reforming our corrupt system, OWS has to gain widespread attention across America. Going to DC may get political junkies fired up, but most Americans will ignore it entirely.

And yes, they may well fail anyway. The corrupt status quo is heavily stacked against real change. They've unleashed the right wing Swift Boat Liars to smear OWS, the mainstream (i.e. corporate) media has a vested interest in preserving the status quo, and obviously the wealthy elite won't change their greedy ways out of the goodness of their hearts. Only time will tell whether OWS has legs or not.

I would think High School freshmen English would be plenty to teach you a common word like "context". As far as playing fair is concerned, that's not something you learn in class. That's a character issue you learn -- or don't -- as you grow up. You either believe it's important to be honest and accurate when you interact with others ... or you're a slime ball. The choice is yours.

The people that back and participate in #Occupy have too much invested in the politicians that support them. They can't afford to see those politicians removed.

Sorry, I did not realize English was not your first language. Contex is the events surrounding something. For example, if you read someone saying the British had troops in Russia fighting against the Russians, you would wonder what is going on. Taken in the context of the Allied intervention in the Russian Civil War in1918 we see a very different event.

Context is king. Taking things out of context on purpose is either trolling or stupidity.

Well firstly, reported. I've been banned for lesser things than calling people a pussy when you don't even know what you're talking about.

Secondly, I'm old enough to not go around calling people a pussy or other such names. Your post has absolutely no merit. There's no censoring that has gone on.

I post a video interview from a guy who developed pepper spray and trained people how to use it, certified them, etc. Nobody of an opposing viewpoint is even interested in commenting on the video.

Your view that riot control agents cannot be used inside a country if that country is engaged in warfare in a foreign land is absurd. It neither says nor implies such a thing.

It means you cannot use pepper spray a weapon of war. You know this, so why do you say otherwise?
