I quoted the police figures from out of the article. Either you didn't read my earlier post or the article concerned, but your claim that I am being intentionally dishonest, is.................. intentionally dishonest.
Your words: "nationwide movement with 400 people in it". It's a lie.

Were, what a bunch of horseshit. You should know better then buy into that. I have never seen any feces in a camp, they do not even let people smoke cigarettes within the camp and have trash patrols.

Want to see shit and garbage? The last Stanford football game parking lot I was at. Suburban people are freaking degenerates! What the hell? They are pissing off the roofs of their cars, groping women, all this nonsense about OWS camps seems to me like more projection and old 1960s smear tactics from protests back then.

After volunteering at the camps here it was really eye opening going to that arena to work. Rural/suburban life imo is nothing but a incubator for crazy people. What really sucks is all the suburban rejects come here and pee all over our streets and drink booze all day and act like they just came from mommys house.

OWS camps? People have always shown to be respectful and courteous to one another along with the community. At least at OWS SF. Oakland is a bit more rough, but then Oakland is Oakland, whatever, I stay away from the 510 unless I totally have to go across the bay every year or so.
Occupy San Francisco may be like that, but the problems at Occupy Wall Street are well documented. You have a point about professional ball team crowds, but those aren't just suburban people.

Occupy Chattanooga had rather a meager turn-out, so they provided some tents and then rounded up homeless people to occupy the tents for them.

Hilarious, your own links own you
. These are stories of homeless and criminal elements who almost always if you read are turned in or authorities tipped off by...ows protesters! Morons, try reading your own links before lying on people.

This is a half truth, the big problem OWS has is that US culture is so utterly screwed the homeless rejects of society infiltrate in hopes of shelter because Americans are too irresponsible to take care of their own, so they collect downtown in cities. In some cities rounding up homeless and dumping them in owe camps is easier then gassing American citizens nightly. Regardless, you have warmth and food desperate people will come, doublybso in the winter, maybe you never realized this but it is plain dishonest to go the smear route like that. My time living in the south I do not remember bullshitting being very gentlemanly.

Sucks that one of the last rational conservatives are going down this weak road. It is like the conservative element has lost all sense of self interest to a cult.

I was referencing the article. You are deliberately misinterpreting my post.
I am responding to your exact words, words that are dishonest regardless of how you try to spin them or excuse them. There is no context that magically turns your statement into something honest. If you don't like that fact, perhaps you should learn to choose your words more accurately.

No one rounded up the homeless and deposited them in Occupier camps, the Occupier people went around to known areas where the homeless congregate and offered to let them stay in these tents. It makes Occupy Chattanooga look like it has several dozen people actually protesting full time, instead of its actual couple dozen or so. One bright spot - one of the homeless guys may actually get a job from a lead from one of the Occupiers who is actually employed.

Actually, mono, that was your intent. Your context and intonation of the subject, after repeatedly saying that the "movement is dying out" and other comments, STRONGLY infers that you are saying that the protest is a small, meaningless thing.

I guess a nationwide movement with 400 people in it impresses you

In english that means, literally, that the "nationwide movement", as a WHOLE, is comprised of 400 people.

Stop stammering and just admit that you were wrong on it. It really does not effect much of your position and your contestation just makes you look childish and whiney.

Wow, police estimate of 400 protesters!

I was discussing the 400 protesters at The Rose Parade. I thought that any reasonable person would connect my previous comment about 400 protesters to a comment about 400 protesters. I guess I was wrong that even leftists could connect the posts. Since it's the case.

I was wrong! I made an error! For God's sake i'm sorry I confused you two. I'll try to do better in the future.

Is that OK now?

Still spinning to save face I see. Your excuse might make sense had you not said "nationwide movement with 400 people in it" in your follow-up. To any normal English-speaking person, that changed the context from the local event to, well, the "nationwide movement", clearly trying to dismiss the significance of the movement by insinuating it only had 400 people. That's not "confusing" people, that's lying.

If your intent had truly been to limit the context to Pasadena (as opposed to yet another of your endless, gratuitous partisan attacks on OWS), then including "nationwide movement" was wrong, plain and simple. If you can't see that, then it is you who needs to upgrade your writing proficiency rather than demanding we learn to compensate for your poor communications skills.

In short, either L2write or grow a pair and man up when called on your lies.

I'd give a little more credence to this statement except I saw a couple of months back where you were absolutely wrong about something spidey had said and then danced and pranced and did everything you could not to admit your error. Maybe if you lived up to your own bullshit you'd have more credibility.

Who was it again that spanked you for it?

Well, it would be cool if someone did get a job, but it is very known the police in some cities were doing exactly this. Personally I think it is a terrible situation to be stuck in and the police know it. It makes their jobs easier as they don't have to be social workers for a bit (but lets not get into THAT mess of US culture fail) I spoke about this to a old officer friend of mine in SFPD quite often in Dec. They have been cutting back drastically on the SFPD beat cops because of budget cuts and it puts them in a situation where it is almost necessary to have OWS babysit so they can catch criminals.

The homeless literally run out regular protesters even though there is a very organized effort to keep drugs/booze and even smoking off of the site. The whole thing is a clusterfuck on many levels. The politics aspect is important though, but the trouble the USA is in I do not think people realized, US society is in decline everywhere with austerity being the word of the decade.

The officers know they are part of the 99% and watch out for the camps best they can, what worries me is the very low number of officers on the streets nowadays though. We literally have 2 officers on weeknights now and it is not a good part of town, Oakland ghetto-assed peeps come over and start a lot of trouble in this part of the City which is already a struggling working class neighborhood sharing the burden of transient folks from the rest of the USA. (Most of the midwest for example sens their crazies to SF because people think we have all these extra services to take care of their problems)

These down and out people are lucky we have semi-mild weather or there would be a lot more coffins shipped back to conservative areas of the country that neglect their folks by default.

You must remember it, I certainly do. Go back through the pages here in this thread, you'll find it sooner or later. It's why I don't take your "dishonest" "admit your error" postings any longer, you don't apply those standards to yourself.

Sure. Or maybe I'll conclude that since you've already been cornered in one lie you might as well double down with another. By the way, someone with true integrity never sets his personal bar based on others' behavior. If you rationalize that "It's OK for me to lie since I think he lied too" ... you're just another liar.

Toodles.

Good! I'm glad I don't have to be the one that keeps bumping the #Occupy thread to show what kind of clowns belong to it or endorse it. Keep up the good work.

You dont make any sense.

He is saying that you helped him by posting in the thread. People will see the thread and read about how the OWS people are idiots and that they do not bathe. People will read about the criminal behavior done by the OWS crowd and be ashamed of them.

He is thanking you for helping ensure people see these things about the OWS group.

Really all I see is a few foxnews cable news junkies hell bent on repeating the same slanderous nonsense from day 1. It's embarrassingly transparent really. But then you all for some reason think that stuff has credibility if you repeat it over and over. It just goes to show how you guys have no life.
