That's an interesting claim... 20,000+ protesters... have anything to back that up?

There were tens of thousands. I'm not sure how much it's fizzled out. Gotta be hard to protest when it's 15 degrees outside. I for one lost interest to an extent.

The OWS movement really proved how divided we are as a country. We have a huge portion of our population who doesn't care that they're being screwed over by an elite upper class so long as they can still goto mcdonalds and get a burger and fries.

Actually, I believe that tens, or even hundreds of millions, DO care about the corruption -- most, like me, simply don't agree with OWS' approach, or with many of the tangential selfish messages presented at the OWS "protests" by the entitlement, anarchist, and far-left crowds.

The #Occupy movement didn't prove anything about this country except that a very small percentage of lefty elitists can get distracted by small shiny objects.

#Occupy was going to occupy the capitol... or something... they even got a permit for 10,000 occupiers! Looks like they were about 9,700 short of that though. As one member of #Occupy said "there's a whole lot of energy here, even if there aren't many people.

Good news there was only 1 arrest for assaulting an officer and 3 for crossing police lines

The real screwing was these little dickheads wanting us to pay off their student loans.

10 bucks the movement was started by internet trolls.. for the lulz and then they left as soon as it got to alrger than like 40 ppl. which is why none of them have a clue what their out getting angry at or for.
overhere in manitoba we had a lone occupy movement that was so hollow. half their tents were empty 24/7 and by the time the eviction notice was served to their campground it had been reduced to just 10% occupancy

And one of their demands is to make wealth equal for everybody. The rich have to much, so take it and give to others. Oh, and along with legalizing pot.

Yet another cornerstone of communism, well not the pot thing.

Oh, and there is a few hundred. Not so much the 10s or 100s of thousands bowfinger keeps parroting. It's just like the tea party! NOT.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/polit...-in-movement/2012/01/17/gIQAzMcU6P_story.html
Organizers had touted the rally, known as Occupy Congress, as the largest national gathering of Occupy protesters to date and secured a permit that would have allowed up to 10,000 people to participate. By mid-afternoon, the protest appeared to have fallen far short of those goals.

1/10 since the average OWS wouldn't hold views that Kennedy was against.

Might've been funnier if you compared them to that person who shot Reagan to get Jodie Foster's attention.

Protesters block banks, more arrests. And somebody tried to tell me they weren't going to go after foreclosures. You can't just decide to stop commerce and business.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/busin...foreclosures/2012/01/20/gIQAYwZJEQ_story.html

A couple hundred protesters have gathered in the Financial District as part of daylong Occupy Wall Street-related demonstrations scheduled around the county demanding that banks end evictions and foreclosures. Traffic was rerouted through the area, as protesters spilled into the streets.

San Francisco Police Cmdr. Richard Corriea says the first arrests came when a group refused to move from their human chain blocking an entrance to Wells Fargo’s corporate headquarters.

Back dirty liberal! Back!
Protesters are continuing to try blocking bank entrances, but police in riot gear and private security guards are chasing them away.

Yeah, it's not getting much national coverage anymore since it's a big negative for Democrats, but there's a few handfuls of diehard lefties that are still pushing it.

No, no, no! 100s of thousands if not millions! There is no negative behavior, actions or arrests! It's a peaceful, very lawful, gathering of peaceful people. They are NOT breaking the law, they are peacefully occupying bank entrances to protect people from their evil bankster ways.

Peaceful. No law breaking. Totally not breaking the law or trespassing or impeding commerce. Nope, peaceful.

There always is a handful of loliberal tards circlejerking about a revolution as a means of coping with personal failures. I'm just surprised that it's in the news at this point.

Its winter you morons.

Put your jihad on hibernation until spring. If nobody comes out when the weather is nicer, then you can start yelling about lame-itudes.

What does Soros have to say about #Occupy ?

"As anger rises, riots on the streets of American cities are inevitable. “Yes, yes, yes,” he says, almost gleefully. The response to the unrest could be more damaging than the violence itself. “It will be an excuse for cracking down and using strong-arm tactics to maintain law and order, which, carried to an extreme, could bring about a repressive political system, a society where individual liberty is much more constrained, which would be a break with the tradition of the United States.”"

a lousy article, but here's the link.

lulz, and you guys think I'm crazy for saying a class war is coming? It's being actively pushed. Tell me again this isn't a push for a communist revolution. Try and say that with a straight face now all the evidence and proof and lessons of history have been shown.
