They didn't get their way so they decided to act like 2-year-olds and throw a temper tantrum by destroying private property forcing the police to move in. Then being consistent with the 2-year-old mental state they tried to blame everyone but themselves for the escalation.

The Flea Baggers have already gotten violent. Just look at Oakland.

Some of it has already happened, and some is just inevitable, like higher taxes, particularly at the top.

The Tea Party? Just another way of describing the delusional repub faithful, an astroturfed creation of Koch Industries & Faux News. Their time has come & gone, their message folded back into the right wing noise machine. There IS a lot of anger, espically when peoples homes/community they have worked very hard creating are torn apart arrogantly while being jeered at by police.

This is why we need older people there, to keep the youth focused, the cops are the 99&#37; also. And the police know it too. Being a hothead and demonizing the police who have had their own salaries cut, pensions slashed, and unions ground to dust is counterproductive, the more police unions that join OWS the closer we are to having demands met. Police have families to look out for also in this economy where everyone working class is being screwed.

Last night the #2 camp in Portland was raided.


The police were met with a endless barrage of the chant of: "WE LOVE YOU, WE ARE HERE FOR YOU, YOU KNOW YOU ARE THE 99% TOO"

The tide is turning. The camp here went from 2 dozen or so tents last week to farther than I can see on the horizon now. The police are listening to the workshops and joining in with their own knowledge of the streets. Pretty cool stuff afoot.
