You bet, 4.6 million dollar bribes don't come along every day.

JPM paid 4.6M in 2010. 404 bribes not found.

New York City Police Foundation — New York

Beginning in 2010, JPMorgan Chase donated technology, time and resources valued at $4.6 million to the New York City Police Foundation, including 1,000 new patrol car laptops. The gift was the largest in the history of the foundation and will enable the New York City Police Department to strengthen security in the Big Apple.

New York City Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly sent CEO and Chairman Jamie Dimon a note expressing "profound gratitude" for the company's donation.

"These officers put their lives on the line every day to keep us safe," Dimon said. "We're incredibly proud to help them build this program and let them know how much we value their hard work."

Conspiracy fail. OWS is one notch above 9/11 truthers on the nutjob totem pole.

Don't you see it?

JPM donated 4.6M to NYPD in 2010 to bribe the NYPD into setting up barricades for the OWS movement that started in 2011.

wait what?

It's simple. You see, GWB paid the banks in blood oil in 2008 who in turn paid the NYPD in 2010 to incorporate a fascist gestapo force to stop the OWS truthers from learning who is really orchestrating the master plan of the 1%. Who is really pulling the strings? I don't know, therefore aliens.

Simpler then that. The cops run a protection racket. The more you pay, the more protection you get. Don't want your store broken into or the cops to take half an hour to answer a call for an armed robbery? Pay up sucker. Run the statistics yourself. Crime rates in high rent districts = "donations" to the cops.

They don't care if they're busted. The fed has already decided they won't do any investigations or press charges against the pigs. If it wasn't for the internet nobody would ever even hear about these things and the fed is working very hard to gain control over the internet too. No doubt they're ready to shut down the entire internet just like the middle east dictators if necessary.

or maybe it's because people in rich neighborhoods don't often attack cops but the ones in poor neighborhoods do? :hmm:

Fuck those poor bastards, if they wouldn't be so goddamned lazy and had gotten rich we might have responded a bit quicker.....

Maybe its because people in rich neighborhoods assist the police when a crime is committed but people in the poor neighborhoods assist the criminals? :hmm:

Maybe if those poor bastards talked to police the criminal who is breaking into their house would be in jail instead of on the street........

Nah- it's because rich people engage in different kinds of crime, at the office, rather than at home.

Maybe if those poor bastards talked to police the criminal who is breaking into their house would be in jail instead of on the street........

Or maybe it's just because they think the police won't actually help them any more than they help the neighborhood in general, which is to say damned little. And there's always the law of unintended consequences, as well.

What Righties often fail to realize is that poor neighborhoods are poorly patrolled, in general, and often resemble the Libertopian paradise they seem to crave... When there are enough cops around to matter, it's just because somebody's getting busted, and they're gone as fast as they arrived.

But I don't think Gates deserved to be the richest man in the world for Microsoft; for example a lot of the wealth came from being lucky that the new PC technology was most efficient to have one operating system to develop for, and Windows happened to be at the right place at the right time. Give him $500,000,000, give him $1 billion - 50 billion?
Who the f*ck do you think you are? "Give him"?!?

His earnings and personal wealth are not yours or anyone else' to do with as you choose -- he EARNED them. That money is HIS -- just as my money is MINE -- so stay the hell away from all of it.

If you try to cap earnings, you will also be putting in place a cap on innovation and motivation. Doing so would literally destroy the global market and the otherwise bright technological future of the human race.

Anyone who wishes to set artificial limits on personal earnings, or to go after someone else' accumulated wealth for no other reason than you think it's "too much," can kindly go f*ck themselves...

I'm all for the complete removal of money from politics, but that must go hand-in-hand with the Government staying the hell away from my money once my fair share of taxes has been paid. I will fight to the death to defend what I've rightfully earned, and I'd expect Bill Gates would too...

LOL - I think I have seen a police car once since I have lived where I live vs. seeing multiple almost EVERY time I go to the "poor" areas.

We know you will. You are ready 24/7 to fight to the death. Meanwhile the rest of us who aren't busy building camp fires in the middle of nowhere and perfecting the skill of being a jack of all trades master of none have marketable skills that need tending to.
