Quoting Tony from another forum:
Guys im going to set the record straight here...I saw the same 5h1te on XS also.
We bought them yes, they were looking to move forward...they make awesome PSU's yes but they needed someone to help push their product to a wider audiance...this is where OCZ comes in.
Some things you don't know...OCZ is now a public company, its 20 times larger than it was 2 yrs ago. We have funds to help PCP&C move to the next level and believe me that is our plan. We have NO PLANS for them to lower quality, our vision is to let them improve our budget lines while giving them a free role in making the best high end PSU's you can buy.
No staff have lost jobs, no one is being forced to do a different job and the online store remains as is...
OCZ will continue to develope PSU's with the help from PCP&C using FSP and 3Y who as partners to OCZ have made outstanding product with great build quality and ultra low RMA rate. 3Y make our present mid to high level enthusiast lines with the 1000W PXS psu being the most under rated psu on the market...im sure the thing is a 1400W in disguise Just ask the Benching team.
PCP&C will slot in above this line with their high end units, nothing will change with their units only changes will be improvemts to OCZ's current line if needed.
So please put your fears aside...yes we bought them...but only good will come from this with wider availability the first thing to change on the PCP&C units...specially in the UK and EU
