CLICK ME!

<< Ok folks. Here we go.

Some of you may remember my posting a thread about a week ago on OCZ and it's so called memory manufacturing capabilities. For those who didn't see it then click here!

Well since that time I have been doing some research and such and have tracked down what I believe to be a company shell game fronted by only a few individuals. The name of the companies to which is all associated with the shell game are as follows.

In the listing you will see the name of the company, their URL address, their physical location address, their phone. You will also see their Info Space Info and Onfo Space MAP and their VeriSign/Network Solutions Info.

Ok. With that out of the way we can move on. Now. If you look over all the above listed companies (yeah, right!), you'l notice with each of the VeriSign/Network Solutions listings they all have 1 common server. That is listed below.

EProfitDesign.com
VeriSign/Network Solutions

Now again look closely at each of the companies listed along with the DNS Server which they all use and you will see that there in 1 person listed time and time again. I'll not mention the name. You can easily see for yourself.

Now here is where I throw in what I believe will put an end to this guys shell game and stop the rip off of ppl everywhere.

First again look back at the link to the previous post I made on OCZs claims for their manufacturing process. Now, I have come to find out that OCZ was given permission to use the pics. But the company to which the equipment belongs was not aware that OCZ was claiming it to be OCZs equipment.

Next I'll simply post some pics which I know will startle most of you. This would partly be due to the way OCZ portrays itself as a compny in the following links.

http://www.ocztech.com/products/memory/manufacturing/index.asp
http://www.ocztech.com/contacts/index.asp
http://www.ocztech.com/corporate/index.asp
http://www.ocztech.com/vendors/us/index.asp
http://www.ocztech.com/vendors/international/index.asp

From these pages you would think that OCZ is a major sized company with a large plant and distribution center along with customer support.

Well folks. The following pics will lay to rest just what OCZ really is. Again these pics may really piss some ppl off but I feel there is a strong need to expose the truth.

for some time OCZ has been regarded by many as scam artists - this is just more proof of that i guess

OCZ sells overpriced stuff anyways.
I'm always suprised on how much people would pay for that extra 5% speed.
Overclocking has become more ego than hobby.

I have had numerous dealings with them. Currently Ryan Peterson who owned the OCZ brand stores has sold and the Webuildpcs/Ability people have bought them out. From all my dealing it came across that they are indeed very small in people since I dealt with exclusively two people ALL the time. They are just middlemen for products for sure. Sometimes they have decent CHEAP things but would never tell anyone for high end stuff to go there NEWEGG ROCKS!! nuff said there. I had to fight and kick these guys when they messed things up but most of the time they were prompt and accurrate. They may have some little thing you want and I would say don't be too scared but read and heed.

I'm kind of reading this half-ass (it's late), but it strikes me as something similar to DVD Manufacturers here in the US, notably Shinsonic and Mintek. They both claim to make their own DVD Players, but if you go to their websites and check out the links to their "see our manufacturing plant/warehouse" pics, they both use some of the same pics from the Shinco website, located somewhere in Asia.

I'm not sure if you're talking about the same thing here, but both Shinsonic and Mintek are relatively good low-end DVD Players. Yes, in reality, their DVD Players are made in China at the plant that is in the picture, but they don't make them here themselves. That doesn't bother me at all really. They're saying "here's where the players are manufactured." Of course, they are not onsite at their location. They are made *for* them.

Anyway, I'm babbling (it is late), so hopefully this applies to something. heh heh

Doh. And here I go getting two sticks from Newegg last month. They work fine, but if the company turns out to be BS, then there goes my lifetime warranty.

Yeah, those pictures are funny. Did he break in or something because there was no cars out front, so I would assume he went on the weekend to take those.

I lived in City of Industry, CA...we have about 130 registered computer shops/factories in the area, Viewsonic, Gigabyte, Enermax, Mwave....just to name a few...and I can say that maybe about 1/3 of the places look like the place in those pix......

yes i believe a lot of those "BIG" names we use or are in our 'puters might come from relatively small dungy looking shops just like those pics...
what matters is that they don't lie and mislead us which is obviously what OCZ seems to be doing.

I've been ripped off $130 by WeBuidPCs last September-RMA'd power supplies (not as advertised on webpage) and no refund ever issued, frequent emails/snail mail letters (forget telephone calls-always busy or goes straight to unanswered voice mail). And I'm not alone-check their reseller.com ratings or the ratings here.

Deal with this slime at your own risk. PM me for details if interested.

So WTF, where does the memory actually come from? Have all of these people been buying generic stuff at premium prices? Ouch....glad I got Crucial.

hmm... my roommate bought some DDR400 OCZ memory and it wouldn't work in my Gigabyte 8IRXP even trying to run at 2100 speeds, but my Mushkin 2100 basic works fine.

My rule of thumb is never to do business with a person or a company that in their name. uses the letter "Z" in place of an "S." Works every time.
