In store price supposed to be $102.37, the Microcenter ad says $39.99 AFTER instant savings and $40 MIR, but I went in and purchased some and they rang up on the register for $39.99...so I ended up buying 2 packs (4 GB). Possibly FREE after rebate if it works.

I ordered a set this morning and got a "backordered" notice as many other folks over at SD. Even in-store purchases are often denied. Looks like it was a price mistake. I think it was supposed to be $40 AR, not out the door.

Oh well, it was my first purchase from them. Not the greatest experience. Even if it does ship, it may not get here before the rebate deadline.

Has anyone cancelled their Micro Cnter orders before? What's the most effective way (phone, email etc.)?

I have a SLI 1066 OCZ kit if this is that kit then it's pretty good, nice heat spreader and does actually run 1066 at relaxed timing.
