OCZ v. Mushkin

I'm running an XP2700 on an NF7-s v2.0. I"m trying to overclock the whole dern thing and ran into some problems with my memory (i've got another thread about this on the overclocking forum).

I currently have Kingstom valueram pc3200 ddr, and want now realize that cheap ram is cheap ram.

I was looking at the Mushkin and the OCZ .

Both are 3200, should i be looking at 3500 or is 3200 enough? Which one of these is better? Are there better choices out there than these?

Both of those are very good, as is Corsair XMS or Kingston HyperX. They'll all perform very well, at tight timings. If you get OCZ, though, make sure you get the Low Latency, not the cheap stuff. Their cheap stuff isn't any better than the Kingston Value ram you already have.

They both are very good. I'm using the OCZ Gold (2-3-3-6 instead of 2-3-2-6)...and it runs great. I paid maybe $104 a stick...so it was definitely worth it for me.

OCZ Gold hear aswell. Running it 200FSB turbo timings on my Epox 8RDA+ stable as a rock. I love OCZ's RMA service. Had a 512mb stick die on me called them up figuring I would have trouble RMAing since I didnt have proof of purchase. Wasnt a problem at all. Told them it gave me all errors in memtest86(think thats the app) and he issued a RMA# right away and said they didnt need proof of purchase. Had my replacement within a week to a week in a half.

Well, that's awesome ram if you don't mind spending $350 just for your ram. Hell, pick up a gig for me, if you get some.
