man this deal never stops giving. i gave out these and the 6310's for Christmas and now i just picked up three of these for a bonus to those that got the 289's from me. please keep your eye out for the 6300 accessories. i got one recharge for myself rather than a rebate on one of the devices i got and you can pick up the battery for the 6300 for like 5 bucks, but the cradle is still going for like 20. does that earbud for the 250 work with the 289 or 6310?

Anybody know of a current hot deal on the 6200, 6300 or 6400 series radios? I went to an OD and they had a ton (over a dozen easy) of the NIMH conversion packs (battery and charger) for these series out on the clearance table.

The best deal I know of right now is the OD deal on the 6220. $49.95. Use a $15 coupon and claim a $15 rebate. Net around $20+tax. This is a nice radio, and has most of the features of my 6300 in a smaller package. It has CTCSS privacy codes, Motorola's Quiet6000 scrambling feature, scans, does weather channels, and has a rotating belt clip. It doesn't have the clock of the 6300, the FM broadcast reception of the 6310, or the compass or barometer of the 6320. If you want to license for GMRS, the best price on a T6400 seems to be the kit at Costco, which includes the NIMH battery and charger.

How much were the battery packs on the clearance table for the 6300 series? OD had these clearanced a while ago and thye could be had for around $15 after rebate. They would probably be very hard to come by now.

I picked up a T6300 battery & charger at my local OD for $19.99 recently, out of the clearance bin. These have been marked at $39.99 for months. They have about 3 left. I'll buy more if they go down more. This is motorola part number 56319.

i just don't know if 19.99 is a great deal. yes it is on sale but as evidenced on this forum when od decides to get rid of these things the price will drop A LOT! i hope i can find some when that happens. also i have seen the battery packs for the 6300 for something like 5 bucks on line just do a search on the motorola part number for this pack.

I picked up 7 of these $2.99 kits yesterday while at OD waiting on the results Compaq Proliant 7800 deal. Good thing I was out of town otherwise , my local ODs would refuse to sell them to me at the clearance price. The 7800 deal turned out to be a dud as expected, but as least I got something for my trouble!

I finally found some of these today. We were passing through another city, so I thought I would try their OD. The clearance table did not have any, but I got the manager to doublecheck stock on the computer and he said they showed five. He thought a minute and then said " I think I remember seeing these the other day" He then went into a side store room (right off of the courtesy desk) and found all five. Definitely ask if you don't see them. The manager said "Man you are getting a deal on these, they were originally $49.99." Now I have to decide whether to ebay the extras or not!

Anybody used an earbud with their Talkabouts? How well does it work? Does it have to be the Motorola earbud? Any deals?
