I just went to my nearest OD and to my disappointment, there was very few items marked down. I asked the manager if there was a WD 30 GB for $50 and she actually laughed as she remembered the price was $139.99

I showed her a receipt of purchase of a Studio PCTV Pro TV tuner and she said that all receipts can be matched only if it's in the same state. In the end, I didn't buy anything. What a waste, a 30-mile drive, back and forth without getting a hot deal.

as far as the ati, depends on what you want to do with it. i'd at least check and make sure the have updated drivers for your os...
i will say that the radeon @ newegg.com seems to be a better buy

Just picked up a Sony Clie for $223. Theres a $50 coupon going on now so its a pretty good deal. There was one left. Plus Palm VII (8mb)for $210. The stupidest thing is i didnt look at this post until afterwards so i didnt get to use the coupon. Dammit.

can anyone confirm the price drop on the 17.3 gig 5400 WD hard drives? they still had them in the computer as $100. if they dropped the 30 gig's to $50, why would the 17.3's still be $100?

Nothing in the Rockville, MD OD. There was a Cybiko on display for $99. It scanned for $.01. The manager said it was a buyback and there was no way she could sell it to me. Arrrrrrrrrrrg! Its no longer on display.

The Clie is $299.88, but there is a $50 mail in rebate. That brings it down to $249, then you could use a $15 off of $50 coupon, which would drop it to $235 + tax.

Just a quick update on my OD bargain hunting... I had 2 go to 3 different stores to find some of these in stock, but I picked up 2 of the nautilis magnifying lamps, 2 of the bankers floor lamps, and even a cybiko! No gamepad pros, every store said they sent them back for credit when they got down to $.01.
The micosft gamepads are double what someone posted them to be, both the voice and the regular one. The gold pens are still at $59.88 also...

jayr: your not going to be happy about this, but the display cybiko did indeed ring up as $.01, and the manager came over to offer me the display unit for 1/2 the original price ($50). I told him I wasn't interested in it for that price, because all I wanted to do was take it apart for parts and I offered him $20. He tried to get me to $30 but I would only do that IF he had the box and manuals wich he didn't. So for $20 I came home with it and have already called cybiko for a serial cable and manuals. I tried using the $20 off $75 coupon found elsewhere but no joy, so had to use the $15 off $50, worked like a charm.
