Would work jsut fine for any workstation type system. Sucks for gaming obviously but how fast of a response do you need when using Word, IE, Money, etc. heh.

Regarding the PDA, can you see the display in direct sunlight? I want one for the GPS receiver I use in my car; the Clie would be much better than having a laptop sitting in the passenger seat.

Sony has one of the best trans-reflective screen. And yes, you can see very clear under direct sunlight.

I'm very interested in the Clie. I just read a review at Amazon that says you need to buy software in order to sync to Outlook. That would kill the deal for me.

You have to register w/ sony after you buy the clie22.
then you can download the Intellisync Lite.

According to what I've read at Amazon, that only applies that a particular range of serial numbers whose software installation accidently mentioned that Intellisync is available.
