OK- I've got a older Athlon 650 w/win98 here thats giving me fits- It will connect to the ISP- however none of the browser, or any other program is acting like it will connect. In the modem area, you can see that traffic is coming in, and going out, but no pages will load (in IE,Netscape,or Opera).
I've tried with a known good modem, completely removed and reinstalled my networking protocals, reconfigured my dial up, tried going through my network using Internet sharing (though that was just to see if it would work- on a poor 56k not a permanent solution), and finally tried a reinstall of Win 98. Nothing has worked. Any other ideas?
