I just formatted my Hard Drive and Installed Win2k (I had ME) last night. I got the latest drivers from modem manufacturer (Aztech), and now my computer is running great. However, my modem connection speed says it's 115.2kps!!! I know FCC regulations prohibit anything over 53kps, so is it possible that I am connecting faster on a 56K analog modem, or is this just a glitch with win2k, or am I an idiot (don't really answer that)? By the way, I may be one of the the first to do it, but I installed Win2k on my Micron XP, with the Gigabyte DDR board and 1ghz Atlon Processor, and it runs great. Micron doesn't have the drivers for all the hardware under win2k (they don't seel win2k w/ this computer), but it was fairly simple finding the 3rd party drivers.
