The act of campaigning adds a lot of extra stress and tiredness. He seems like he has been alright with the actual job duties, but can't handle the campaigning.

The only reason that would need to campaign is that the voting population contains a large portion of idiots. There isn’t a person capable of objective thought who is going to vote for Trump.
