Trump's head is mostly oatmeal at this point, but even when it wasn't he wouldn't be able to handle Kamala Harris in a debate.

Strong women enrage this low IQ poser, and even worse, this one's brown. Being senile really won't help with that either.

Trump will spew a variety of nonsensical anecdotes and try to run out the clock while he silently rageshits himself. Kamala will calmly eviscerate him, with the cold, unimpressed yet resigned look you'd expect from an intern, asked to pick up dogshit for the boss.

America will give a resounding No Thanks to Team Treason in November. Trump can't handle economies, emergencies or national security and no one wants to lose anymore rights. There is no SCOTUS repair during another Trump infection, which matters a lot to several million newly registered GenZs.
Gotta be AT LEAST ONE DEBATE.

DNC likely put this shit off as long as possible so there was no chance of a candidate on the left winning the primary. The DNC would much rather have another Trump presidency than see someone on the left like Bernie get elected.
Is your brain melting down there in Texas with the power outages?

Side note, waiting to find out that Republicans forgot about inflation, and haven't noted the fact that their donations are actually down like 20% from last election. Gonna find out when we see some heat from D donors.

HahahahahahaHa HahahahaHa Ding Dong the wicked Biden's dead and we get Kamala Harris instead.

But what upsets me the most

Is that that silly senile ghost

Without a single cogent thought in his head

And everybody knows is brain dead

Gets to recommend an equally empty head in his stead

Fuck that! Open the nomination to all and get a completely new team.

Ask Michelle Obama to step up and save the nation.
Go clean your gun again, you need a break.

She might not get elected if she murders him on stage like that.
She'll know she has to show some class. It's an asset. She'll have more than money in her war chest. She's not stupid at all. And she'll have time to prepare and won't waste it. Trump won't.

Unfortunately, American voters are a lot dumber than you imagine.
They don't have to know all that stuff they just have to know enough to not vote for you know who.

I'm surprised. I didn't believe Joe would give up the big chair for anything.

That's because you know no Republican nominee would ever put country before their own power.

Couldn't be that Joe lost the support of pretty much his entire party? Or that his major donors shut of the money? Maybe Jill told him the election was yesterday and he lost.
Maybe it is you that has dementia since you couldn't remember your own post that I replied to. Your response in context makes no sense.

Who put Democrats in the position they find themselves in. Isn't it traditional conservative Democrats? Isn't it because we don't have any young progressives on the ballot? Good grief, man, don't you know that progressives would doom the party to failure at the polls? What do you think big money donors and their political servants would say to that. We can't have progressives come to power because they would threaten the system that keeps most politicians in power. Can't have that. What we can have is the art of the possible a continuation of politics as usual. But what happens if progressives decide not to play and Democratic as usual politics becomes impossible. What if progressives say, on strike shut it down. Then what is possible becomes what is impossible now. Nothing will happen until Progressives upset the apple cart and come to power. Progressive thinking is the future of mankind because conservative Democrats and Republicans are animated by a death wish. The limits of what is possible are determined by the quality of ones vision.

Too bad that Biden decided so late not to run (I moved my vote from 30% to 50% just a few days ago!).

I'm hopeful that Harris will have a bit more impact, now that she appears to be the front-runner for the Democratic nomination.
This was pretty much expected since 2020, and Harris should have been a stronger, more public, VP - but it is what it is.

She's obviously well behind in polls, but I guess that she might be able to turn it around with a very strong showing. I still think that Trump is likely to be the next president, but a good performance in debates, strong public appearances, and turning the tables on Trump being an old man close to his 80s might work (He's now the oldest nominee for president ever).

Smart play is to let this slow-play in an open, transparent and honorable way. Every day that Trump does not capture the daily news cycle is a win.

Don't prematurely ejaculate.
Trump hasn't already shot his wad? He spilled his brains for 93 minutes Thursday night. I can't imagine how he can dominate the news cycle now. He'll say shit and the media will be dumb enough to repeat it. I will not crave it a bit. I will resent it every time I hear it.

the last few months are the most critical. Kamala has plenty of time. and it's not like she's politically unknown. she's the goddamned VP.

Midwest indies will not break for Kamala. It will be tough to convince them.

Absolutely agree about Biden tho, he did save us in 2020.

Well it’s a genuinely difficult problem to grapple with. Do you end democracy to save democracy?

The problem is democrats value the democratic system and republicans don’t.
Hey if all else fails and Trump is elected, Biden can throw all of them in jail during lame duck. I certainly wouldn't lift a finger to stop him.

We did have a real primary. I’m not sure you understand how the primary system works.

Is your idea that we should have forced people to run who didn’t want to? If not then what?
That would be wrong but there's nothing wrong, in my opinion, with adapting to change. The question I puzzle over is whether Harris is the best choice to win. Now that Biden is out what's wrong with asking who would be willing to run now, I think Mrs. Obama should be asked to run for the good of the Nation since the public would vote for her over all others.

Two days before Obama announced against Clinton I emailed and pleaded with him to run for the same reason. In my opinion there is no doubt she would win which is not as true for anybody else.
