I don't know what you're smoking, but, that was essentially Romney's platform in 2012: My policies? Uh, like Bummers, but, uh, better. He was essentially running as the White Bummer. It's why he didn't get elected, no one on the Dem side was going to vote for him, they already had a Bummer as a White Guilter/SJW plus he wasn't white. On the Rep side, he just didn't generate any real departure from Bummer to muster up enough enthusiasm. Sorry, that's just how I saw/see him.

my point is that the way he seems to be actively sabotaging his own campaign is so insane that it would make more sense if he was a sleeper.
he cashed in 50M of assets to fund this escapade, spent 40m that was converted from loans to donation, will likely have to spend the remaining 10M which will put him in over romney(43M) in terms of self funding.
50M and the utter destruction of the trump brand(fraudulent as it was before the campaign) is a pretty hefty commitment of value for an ego stroking venture.
for a money grubbing scam artist like trump, to go this far and not try to win seems beyond any rational gains to be made later after losing the election. there have been rumors about him starting a trumpTV after the election, but given how badly this may turn out, the theoretical profits to be made cant outweigh his attachment to his money or the beating his ego will take when he loses.

It is amazing that half the population is incapable of understanding that these stories are manufactured more or less out of thin air, and aired ad nauseum in the hopes that this crap will actually influence people. This is the same media that dragged this country into Iraq, which kicked off a religious crisis that we are only just beginning to feel in earnest. And this is exactly how they did it. By suckering naive fools into talking about nothing of substance while policy was set regardless of any evidence, rationality, public interest, consent, or will. It wasnt Bush. It wasnt democratic.
