OEM 1900xt for $250 at the egg?

Ok heres the deal.
Newegg had the 1900 xt listed at $399 with $100 rebate, after a week-ish it was changed to $349 with $50 rebate. HOWEVER Price Grabber has the 1900xt listed for the new price of $349 with the old rebate listed. And this link to the $100 rebate. Do you think one could buy the card at the new price point and get the old rebate that pricegrabber is showing? It's valid 8/15-8/31.

Thinking aboout jumping on this one. But not sure. Any thoughts?

Compare both NewEgg's and Price Grabber's rebate forms. Notice how the $100 is off to the side on Price Grabbers'. Looks like someone might have screwed around with it.

the Pricegrabber rebate looks tampered as you suggest..This would tenous at best...more likely to get nothing..better to take the $50 rebate

That pricegrabber rebate might be valid. Check out thisrebate form for a Connect3D X1900 GT, it has the same weird gap for the $100 rebate.

Per ZZF, the retail cards seem to have a 2-year warranty. This one does say OEM so it could be different.

I entered part number #14-149-063 that was listed in the rebate form in to a froogle.google.com search and found a $289 X1900 @ newegg.com after rebate that makes it $189!

You may want to keep in mind that the x1950xt comes out wednesday and will most likely drop it to that price anyway within the week. If that helps anyone.

It sure does help. Considering that rebates often take more than 4-6 weeks to arrive, I believe most of us are willing to wait 7 days to get what they need.

The Newegg link is for an open box item that is now priced at $274.99. I doubt that it will show up with any UPC code still on the box.
