And no the fan is not horrendously loud, You have to be real anal about noise to think this. I dont much like noise and I almost never here my X1800XT's fan.

you only hear it if you set high fan settings, 50% fan noise for me is audible but not loud at all and 50% keeps my laod temps @ 65

Get yourself on of these and a you wont see even 50c on load.

And everyone can forget about fan noise as well.

Accelero x2 cools quite a bit better than the Zalman. The Vf700CU is a great cooler, but I had temps of around 75c under load. I get up to about 70 with
the accelero x2, with 2 instances of Prime 95 going. Usually it is around 65 or so.

Newegg so gay, when i placed my order the day before yesterday, they only listed X1800XT 256 MB OEM for 239 Usd and yesterday, they have the 256 MB retail version for fuken 219 AR !!! , how gay they are .

Newegg is cool, always, but this time they sux ^_^

these items are usually customer returns (after box has been opened). Laws deny stores from selling returned opened merchandise as retail. Refurb would mean an item that was defective/broken and has been fixed. If it was Refurb I think newegg lists the item as "Manufacturer Recertified" rather than "Open Box".

In either case the newegg warranty period for "Open Box" and "Manufacturer Recertified" items is 15 days(much less than OEM/Retail, but if anything is faulty it's usually found in the 1st week of operation). If you're going to try overclocking them, be sure to start testing it's overclockability within that 15 days.
