Man, I can't find the RB2 drums in stock anywhere. I ordered them from DD as they were only $68, but it's backordered and who knows when they'll ship. And the GHWT drums aren't going to be packaged separately for a while I'm reading.
Need new drums before my party in a few weeks. Anyone know of an online retailer that has them? I avoid B&M stores like the plague.

No comments after is came out yesterday for the PS3?
I cant find a decent setting for the lag.....If the guitar is good ... the drums are bad ...drums good, guitar bad....
Other than that it seems pretty good.
Anyone know how to import tracks from RB1? I have the patch ... but see no option anywhere to import.
The option to import RB 1 songs is found on the RB 1 disc.
I'm confused as to why if the timing is good on guitar, how it would be bad for drums? All the lag compensates for it video and audio delay, so once it's set properly it'll stay the same regardless of instrument used. If it's delaying on drums or guitar then that points to one the inputs lagging, which the game can't compensate for. Sounds like one of your instruments isn't working 100%.
I have wireless guitars and wired drums. The wireless guitars naturally have a little lag that the wired drums do not have. It's not much, but it's noticeable.

Personally, I'm happy I only recognize a few of the tracks. For me, the whole RB/GH series has opened up a lot of music that I didn't listen to before. For example, I'd never heard of the New Pornographers before RB and I thought Electric Version was a kinda catchy song. Then I saw them opening for Radiohead and I was really impressed. Now I own a bunch of their stuff. I recognize a bunch of these band names from college radio play lists. So there are probably some good tracks in there and RB is giving a wide exposure to bands that normally wouldn't get their tracks into the game's main listing and wouldn't be picked up as paid-for DLC.
I'm happy with the list. Maybe I'll get a new favorite band out of it.

So, lately my friend and I have had RB2 lock up after lengthy sessions and force a power cycle of the 360. It also appears that one of the crashes has corrupted my friend's rock band profile, erasing his bands and any characters created under his gamertag, which really sucks.
Has anybody else experienced RB2 doing this to them? It's not frequent, but it sure is annoying that it happens at all.
Thanks in advance

Got one for gold starring a song yet my trophy is a silver.
Anyone know the difference from bronze, silver, and gold? It doesnt' tell you how to get the next level.

Nope, your console/drive/PSU might be on the way out. Keep an eye on it. Any other games acting up?

The color of the trophy reflects the relative difficulty of the accomplishment, i.e.
Bronze - basic/easy
Silver - moderate
Gold - hard
Platinum - very difficult/time-consuming
So gold-starring a song is considered worthy of a silver trophy. BTW I'm referring to the PS3 version.
I have a question for the PS3 people: I play guitar exclusively when I go online, can I use the regular USB mic for voice chat with other online players? And is the mic 'on' all the time, or do I have to press a button on a controller to transmit my voice? I would probably only chat during song selection and not during a song.

What's it take to gold-star a song? I've seen it referenced in the achievements on the 360, but neither myself nor my roommate has earned one (and he got through one song on expert guitar with 100% accuracy). I've made it through a couple of songs on medium drums without missing a note.
