I just saw Queasy's quote in another thread saying the same thing... that really sucks that it's NOT rock band... but i'm confused by the other articles then. Is this still being done by harmonix/EA? But yet it's not rock band? If that's the case, I can only assume that they didn't want their music to be importable into the rock band game like AC/DC will be.... and that really sucks.

I imagine Beatles demanded their own game but it will be very similar to RB. I imagine instead of World Tour, it'll be Beatles through their career.
They said instruments will be compatible.
Not many details but they said it won't be out till next Winter anyway.

ACDC track pack out today. It is awesome. There are some very hard guitar solos on there DDDDC and the beginning of Hell's Bells are ridiculous.

I saw that today. As much as AC/DC rocks I'm not sure I'm willing to shell out 40 bucks for 17 songs (18 if you count the one that's already in RB2).

Why would you count the one already in the game? You have that one already, so it's $40 for 17 songs... period.

I hope the AC/DC one doesn't sell very well. Everyone already would have to have the full rock band set obviously, so why wouldn't they just make the songs DLC? It just doesn't make sense.

I don't but I knew somebody would say "there's 18 songs! you dolt!"

One could argue that that song counts because this is a live version of the song. Just like we had the Working Man cover, followed by Working Man Vault for RUSH DLC... and again there was Tom Sawyer in the original Rock Band followed by the Tom Sawyer DLC in the Moving Pictures release. Same song, but different versions...
I'm not sure i'm willing to go there with that argument, but some may
