With Fitzmagic at the helm, basically the outcome of every game is a coin flip. You're literally relying on absolute luck for Fitzmagic not to throw the game away in the last couple minutes of the 4th quarter.

I'd take the coin flip any day vs the house win (geno smith).

Everyone crapped talk the Jets. I'm so glad Geno got that broken jaw. Atleast with Fitz, we're not throwing as many picks.

Well...yeah...it was reported that Geno would possibly miss 18-30 INT's from the broken jaw.

Dallas Homer here, but Weedon is gonna lead the Boys to a W!

Don't think so. Dallas got a lucky win in week 1. Week 2 they played pretty bad but they met with the dumpster fire formerly known as the Eagles. I doubt they get lucky week 3.

Would not want to be a Bears fan going into this weekend..

Can replace "Bears" with a bunch of other team names...

He a decent QB, just don't expect him to be very mobile and throw on the run. If the Dallas O-line stays healthy they should be able to win games.

I am honestly the most worried about the Patriots. The other teams are stupid enough to stack the box, blitz and LB and dare Weeden to beat them. And, with Witten and Beasley, he will dink and dunk them all night. BB, on the other hand, is smart enough to let Dallas waste time establishing a run game. Brady will score and Dallas will HAVE to play catch up. Romo and Dez can gunsling against the best of 'em, but Weeden without Dez, eh, nope. BB seems smart enough to give Dallas enough rope to hang themselves and just play safe most of the game.

Tom Brady's playing with a chip on his shoulder the size of Mt Rushmore. Don't think he doesn't know of JJ's support of Goodells attempted 4 game ban, he will eat Dallas for lunch. He has Gronk, (unstoppable), Edeleman, (unstoppable), and now Chandler, Dobson, Amendola all making plays and a young O-line that kept the $250 million Bills D-line to one sack and that was because he tried to double-pump and held on to the ball too long.

You have to forgive the actual Boston team fans. They're a lot like Massachusetts drivers in general: They can't accept criticism of any sort with grace or dignity.

I'm not saying he doesn't push off, I think a lot of veteran receivers are crafty about that. But he mainly wins his routes by his pure quickness. Look at the Superbowl. The route he ran to score the last touchdown, he did push off on. But when he ran that same route during the previous drive, he just flat out beat the CB. Unfortunately Brady over threw him. That's why they went back to that same play for that final touchdown.

I'm starting to think that Geno's broken jaw was planned, and that everyone pitched in...

Kam ends holdout:

http://news.yahoo.com/kam-chancellor-doesnt-want-let-135943896.html

Good, because it seems sports has become about maneuvering and signing deals in such a fashion that would allow one to get a BIGGER contract later on.

Its becoming less and less about winning, and more and more about greed and max contracts.

Thank God. Any support he may have had initially has been gone for a while. Another week, and his name would have been mud in Seattle. He's going to have to work his ass off now to gain respect back.

I'm not buying the Lynch excuse -- the dude looked silly by losing 2 millions dollars trying to get 900,000.

Greed, that's all that was...and now he's out of 2 million. Even if Seattle gave him his 900,000, he's still out of 1.2 million.

Stupid.

Oh, and I don't think this was a coincidence that he came back against the garbage Bears, a team they would have shellacked anyway without him.

Perhaps this win would "prove" his value to the team. He should have faced Rodgers last week to make that case.

Damn. Was hoping Kam would stay strong and hold out. He signed a very team friendly deal and got screwed in the end.

I won't be surprised if there's a backroom type deal where Seattle contacted him to agree giving him some of what he's asking (doesn't have to be right away, maybe a signed promise for future contract, etc.), with the agreement that he stays quiet about such deal and tell the media that he decides to end his holdout because of 'reasons' (apparently he chose for the reason to be Lynch in this case).

It's a win win situation for absolutely everyone. The biggest problem of his holdout in the first place is the precedent. Seattle probably wouldn't mind giving him what he wants (maybe with a little bit of further negotiation), but then if they do that they opened the door for everyone else to do the same, inviting a lot more headaches in the future.

I am not opposed to this idea myself.

My only issue is how people viewed the Seahawks as being this big, bad, greedy corporation "getting over" on Kam who, by the way, is paying him $267,000/wk.

This is not slavery -- these men, even those making the minimum, are living much better than your average working person.

Well, they should have crossed that bridge when they got there. I don't see there being many other players who are underpaid in terms of what other similar players get paid, who have drastic impacts on their teams.

And everyone can cry my a river about Kam being greedy. Noone says a peep when teams go to players and ask them to take pay cuts or restructure their contract or risk being cut.

You literally sound jealous of the fact that he has a skill you don't that allows him to make that much money. Your arguments are ridiculous. You keep throwing out how much he makes likes it matters as to the monetary value he brings his team. It sounds like u have a general issue with Capitalism.

Holding out for 900k and perhaps losing 2 million in the process IS GREEDY -- if he has to pay his fines and forfeit the bonus.

I bring it up to make people like you look dumb, and also whiny rich brats look dumb.

I know that teams can cut players, and leave them with no money owed to them, but that means that they need to collective bargain that out, if possible.

They know that they can be cut after the team's obligation is fulfilled, that's why you save your money and actually plan for the future so you will be in a position to absorb the impact.

This isn't slavery...guys are well-paid.
