I bring it up to make people like you look dumb, and also whiny rich brats look dumb.
I know that teams can cut players, and leave them with no money owed to them, but that means that they need to collective bargain that out, if possible.
They know that they can be cut after the team's obligation is fulfilled, that's why you save your money and actually plan for the future so you will be in a position to absorb the impact.
This isn't slavery...guys are well-paid.
You know a player can sign a 4 year contract and get cut the next day right. The only money he will ever see is the signing bonus part right? But, if a player signs a 4 year contract he must play the whole contract out? Does that seem fair to you?
You keep repeating the same thing over and over like a perpetual turrets loop. But you haven't addressed whether you bevieve in Capatlism or who/what should determine what is fair compensation. I'm sure some poor homeless person would look at you making say 45k a year, say you are well paid and wonder why should you be stressing about raises or making more.
And because you can't make an intellectual logical defense of it, it most likely means your position is intellectually dishonest and inconsistent so you rely on a purely emotional argument of how "much" he makes.
