I'm not sure I'll watch the Eagles game this week. Last week was the worst game I have ever seen. I don't think I want to spend 3 hours doing that again this week. I'd rather play some video games.

Well in all honesty I haven't been able to watch the lions yet this year, so I may be basing this off of my previous opinions.

Understood.

The only way the lions win this game is if they don't want to get embarrassed on Prime Time in their home opener.

Sure, last year our D was great, but we lost a TON on the D-line, including Suh. That got us to the playoffs last season, combined with miracle plays and improbable comebacks.

That stuff don't carry from year-to-year.

Broncos offensive line has GOT to do a better job. It's the only place I've really been unhappy with Elway's management...I know he had to free up some money to improve the defense, but the o-line is the last place you slice, especially with an ancient QB and a shaky running game. If this keeps up, Manning will not make it through the season. I'd really like us to beat on the Lions early so we can put Osweiler in and get him some xp...with Suh gone and Stafford hurt, there's a chance.

Foster's back this week? Texans NEED NEED NEED him. If Mallet can pull his punches a little and make his passes easier to catch for his head-up-ass receiving corps, they might do okay without Foster, but that's a big if. However, I sure as hell wouldn't rush my star RB back from GROIN SURGERY before he's ready. Not with as little else as that offense has going for it.

Sympathetic chuckle for the Cowboys. What did they do, refuse entry to a dude with a goat? Sell their greatest star to a division rival so they could finance a Broadway musical? Ironically, though, this might end up helping them. If Weeden can just hang on to .500, T&D might come back fresh for division run time. As bad as the East is this year, holding your best players out of the first several games would be a pretty canny strategy if they did it on purpose...they're not going to beat the Packers for home field, so all they really need is 10-6ish.

Edelman just a push-off artist? Bad receivers push off...good receivers create space. Edelman was my choice for Super Bowl MVP.

Drew Brees officially out for week 3.

I'm already writing this season off. Too many bloated contracts, bunch of young players, dead money galore. We are probably going to suck next season too, hopefully we can get back to being a contender in a couple years but its going to be an uphill climb without Brees.

Could be worse. You could be a Bears fan. 3+ years to right this ship without mistakes, and even the new regime has made a number of them already.

Two obscure but funny references right there.

Kelly quickly went about gutting his roster, trading away Pro Bowl running back LeSean McCoy straight up for Bills linebacker Kiko Alonso, who missed the entire 2014 season with a knee injury. Alonso reinjured the knee last week and is out for Sunday's game, and perhaps much longer. Kelly replaced McCoy with Cowboys free-agent running back DeMarco Murray, who had a career year in 2014 with 1,845 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns. Murray's production through two games: 21 carries for 11 yards. That's right, Murray has mostly run in reverse so far.

Kelly dumped quarterback Nick Foles in a trade with the Rams for Sam Bradford, who played only seven games the previous two years because of two ACL injuries. So far this year for Bradford: two touchdown passes, four interceptions and a host of questions about whether he can properly execute Kelly's system.

Kelly also has shed the Eagles' top two receivers in the past two years -- DeSean Jackson, who was released in 2014, and Jeremy Maclin, who opted to sign a free- agent deal with the Chiefs after Philly declined to meet his asking price. And Kelly signed Seahawks free-agent cornerback Byron Maxwell to a six-year, $63-million contract, only to see him fizzle in the early going. Opposing quarterbacks have racked up a perfect 158.3 rating when passing to receivers covered by Maxwell.

Falcons back into it, 14-7.

I don't think anyone gave the Jags a shot against NE, like the Bears are probably planning for next week's game.

Cowboys offense actually not looking terrible with Weeden. Hopefully, they can keep that pocket and the running game. Going .500 in the games Romo misses would be amazing, especially with how the division started for the other guys.

Ravens down 14-0, if they don't come back they go 0-3 and take a huge hit in any chance of the playoff's.

21-7 Cowboys, Wheedon was 21/21 last I saw. I didn't expect this but I knew better than to count them out. That o line makes everyone look good.

The ground game.

Better not rely on Weeden throwing the ball.

Weeden is making great short throws. I don't count him having to bomb it down, but with how Dallas is playing, he won't have to. Ground game and nice short passing is effective enough. Especially, when Weeden is getting a a ton of time.

And, just as I say that... Fuck you Weeden!

I think that was Dallas' plan going in -- not allowing Weeden to lose the game, and holding down the fort.
