I read somewhere last week that Evan Mathis graded out negatively by two different defensive metrics. For the Colts O-line, that can't be good news.

Are you referring to Todd Herremans perhaps? Yeah, the talk around town is that Herremans looks "washed up." That is REALLY bad news because he was the only addition to the offensive line. Our brilliant GM was on the case though, channeling Matt Millen and using our #1 pick on a WR instead of addressing holes that needed to be filled.

I feel bad for Andre Johnson. He has been a total non-factor this year. Luck hit him deep earlier and of course, Hugh "I have to hold every defender within 10 ft" Thornton managed to get flagged and it was called back.

This Colts/Titans game has had some remarkably shitty play on both sides of the ball, but it manages to be entertaining because the score keeps fluctuating wildly. I hope the Titans answer and get the 2-point conversion to force overtime.

Note on Dallas. I always thought that the Dallas O-line got maybe a little too much credit. After 3 games, and especially with Romo out, I've been impressed. Unfortunately (and happily for all in Philadelphia) even they couldn't account for Wheedon's deficiencies.

I think it was all about play calling. They wouldn't let Weedon throw the ball downfield, even when they needed a home run. He wasn't quite "Josh Freeman in Minnesota" bad, but he wasn't anything special. Dink and dunk passes work until you lose the lead.

Hopefully, they give Cassel a chance next week. Any QB in the NFL can make those 10 yard passes.

In other news Big Ben was carted off the feild after taking a shot in the knee during a sack. Cincy just took over on downs and will win. Ravens 0-3, who'da thought?.

This is easily the worst offensive line I've ever seen. The defense was on the field all day and was winded but got two big goal-line stops and Luck became his old self in the 4th and put the team on his back. They're still in serious trouble. They need to come out next week and beat the Jags by 20 pts, minimum.

Watching the game and...yeah...Kaep with 2 TD passes to the wrong team. Kaepernick is extremely athletic but I see almost no progress as a QB. Something I've said for the last couple years. You can be athletic all you want but NFL defenses are so good, they will find your flaws and exploit it. Kaepernick needs to be able to better read defenses and make better decisions.

Because he's being inaccurate long. There's a reason.

Tough loss, but I kind of expected JJones to tear us up.

Bills up 14-0 playing in Miami, Taylor playing smart ball and not making mistakes. Even though they lost to the Pats he completed 72% of his passes and threw for 3 TD's. Take away a few high throws that went for picks (and one of those should have been caught) he still played hard in the 2nd half of that game despite being sacked 8 times.
